America's Got Talent Champion Landau Eugene Murphy

On Wednesday night the host Nick Cannon has finally announced the winner of the sixth season of NBC reality show America’s Got Talent. Landau Eugene Murphy, a jazz singer was entitled the championship after a gorgeous performance of “My Way”, a song by Frank Sinatra.


America’s Got Talent 2011 Winner: Landau Eugene MurphyLandau, 37 years old, lives quite hard and he was one homeless at age 19, as a native in West Virginia. He was a car washer before he attended this show, but now he has won the $1Million prize and his life would change a lot from now on. According to the rules, the winner could choose either to get the money in a 40-year long time or at one time. For a 40-year long annuity, Landau will get $25,000 a year. However, he can only get $300,000 if he chooses to get at one time. So it seems that Landau isn’t an instant millionaire, and life is still hard for him.

The good news is that Landau has got great reputation since the show, and will begin a headlining act in Las Vegas on October 28.
